Die Stage and Markers

Population and Value 

Recently an EMDS specimen was examined and it proved conclusively that this variety is the result of damage to the die and NOT from an errant S mintmark punch.  The coin and photo was passed around to the die variety attributers and it was their unanimous decision to delist this variety from their files.
